The Lightroom Specialist provides professional one-to-one Adobe Lightroom training and workflow-support services, offered both remotely and in person.
With over ten years of experience assisting Windows and macOS users, the Company has helped photographers improve efficiency, resolve catalogue issues, and enhance productivity.
Remote training, diagnostic, and support sessions are delivered via a secure and easy-to-use connection platform trusted by over 30 million users worldwide, including IT professionals, universities, government agencies, and corporate organisations.
The Company has also provided group Lightroom training for over ten years on behalf of one of the largest photographic retailers in the United Kingdom, delivering structured sessions using state-of-the-art teaching tools and resources.
Central to this training is a unique workflow methodology that emphasises recognising what each image needs in terms of adjustment or enhancement, and from this understanding, selecting the appropriate and effective editing tools. This structured approach consistently produces accurate results, prevents over-processing, and improves editing efficiency.
The Lightroom Specialist also assists clients in setting up Adobe Lightroom from the ground up, including advice and implementation of recommended external (RAID) storage solutions and the importance of correct file-management practices. This ensures that each photographer’s workflow is organised, secure, and scalable from the outset.
In addition to training, the Lightroom Specialist has developed a range of bespoke photographic applications, including Lightroom diagnostic tools and focus-point confirmation utilities, designed to assist photographers in identifying potential workflow issues and ensuring precision throughout their editing process. These tools will be made available for purchase via the Company’s website, either individually or as part of specific training and maintenance packages.
The Lightroom Specialist has also produced instructional videos demonstrating this workflow and intends to make these available as a reference library on the Company’s website in due course, alongside future diagnostic and workflow tools designed to further support photographers in refining their post-production process.
